I absolutely adored Romeo and/or Juliet by Ryan North, my first time reading a Choose-Your-Own Adventure book, and now want to make every review I write chooseable! It’ll make writing reviews twice as long, but it will make it more fun and entertaining for you bookworms right? So, without further ado, let’s start the review! (rhyming couplets for the win!) Happy Bookmark Monday bookworms! It’s been a while since I’ve posted one of these, huh?

I haven’t been having much luck with bookstagram lately. The algorithm is really messing with my likes, not that it should matter, but it’s frustrating going from posting pictures and some people seeing it to no one seeing them.

I guess you can see them here, and that’s something! Continue reading

Hello bookworms! Sorry for going MIA last week, I got really unmotivated in posting things online, but did a great job procrastinating on social media so I guess there’s that!

Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day which makes today Galentine’s Day or Palentine’s Day if you’re into celebrating those. If not, it is Top Ten Tuesday, one constant thing we can count on. Which means it’s time to talk about this week’s theme!

So this week’s theme is love based (obviously) and as you know if you’ve visited this blog often, I am not a huge romance reader. Sure, I was in my younger days, but the tropes really annoy me. That doesn’t mean I don’t get a little swoony over my OTP’s every now and again, so that’s what I focused on this week!

Howdy bookworms, how’s January been for you? One of my co-workers described January as the Monday of the year and I’ve never heard a more accurate description for the month.

But it’s February on Thursday, and that means the month of love and chocolate and another holiday to look forward too (if you’re into Valentine’s Day that is).

Anyways, I’m rambling. I guess it’s time to get into some Top Ten (okay five) Tuesday! This week’s theme was a lot of fun, enjoy! Continue reading

Review Round Up! New Years Edition

Welp, another year has gone by and I did a pretty crappy job keeping up this blog. I’m really sorry about that bookworms, and one of my resolutions for this coming year is to be more present on here, posting more reviews, and reading more because I did a pretty crappy job at that too.

I only managed to read thirty books out of my fifty book goal this year. I made it halfway at least so I’m happy with that, and I know having a goal for what to read each year isn’t necessary, but I always feel like such a failure when I don’t reach my goal. I plan on hitting fifty next year, and making sure to read more too. I think I’ve finally gotten out of this reading slump!

And here’s a Review Round-Up: New Year’s Edition. It turns out there are only three books on this list (I finished Now I Rise in October and Watership Down in December, so yeah, once again, I suck), but here’s what I read regardless! Continue reading
